Image via Instagram I wore this dress from Gwynnie Bee, which I mentioned I will be taking to Forecastle. It dried relatively quickly after jumping in the pool, and everything (including my iPhone) stayed in my pockets. It didn’t stick to my legs when wet and when dry, even after wringing it, it looked pretty…
Yesterday, my daughter and I walked the few blocks to my mom’s house to visit. It was in the 90s and steamy, one of those summer days when you didn’t have to look at the news or an app to know that the blue skies would change later afternoon into a shower. I put on…
Jacket – Caslon (similar) Tee – Ann Taylor (similar) Jeans – NYDJ Booties – Cole Haan “Air Tailia” Bracelets – Tarnish, UTAC, boutique in Rehoboth Beach Silver hoops I have been having neck and left shoulder pain that radiates down into the center of my left arm. I think it has to do with the…
Pink merino v-neck from J. Crew, black pencil skirt from Old Navy, black tights from Target, black heeled oxfords from BCBGirls. Hair was wet but not washed, added pureology thickening lotion, dried with paddle brush then Croc straightening iron to smooth. Makeup is Revlon ColorStay under eye concealer in Light Medium, then Rimmel Lasting Finish…
Dress – Mossimo for TargetShoes – SofftSilver cuff Hair was washed and conditioned, dried with round brush. Really really simple because I am still feeling a bit under the weather but had to be at work. You can see I didn’t even get a chance to iron the dress. Not my best day. Gosh, I…

Looking beautiful birthday girl !
Thank you!
I love that when you dress up for an occasion, you do it up! You probably looked like someone famous all ready for a night on the town! A maxi dress always makes for a glam look, but I too would have never considered it for a winter event. But, now that you mention all the layers of warmth you can hide underneath, then absolutely, I’d consider it. Looks like you two had a great romantic weekend. Much love to you both.
Aww thank you Sonia!! Hope you are healing nicely!
I LOVE the stole
Thanks Meghan!
Gorgeous outfit, and your makeup looks extra amazing in these photos.
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
Girl that outfit is smokin’ hot. I love that dress. How I missed this website, I do not know. is this a site you recommend?
eShakti? I’ve had mixed experiences with them. I think if I ordered with measurements instead of sizing I’d be happier. I recommend reading the comments in this post as many readers have bought from them and have amazing suggestions: http://ubcxyjmp.top/2016/12/eshakti-review.html
The green stole is a knockout with your dress!
Thank you!
Stunning!

Thanks Liv!
You are a beautiful butterfly, Allie!! What a perfect description!!
It’s funny, because I don’t see as many maxis in the winter, so the 3 of us just did a series on them. It’s nice to see you wear yours too!!

I love maxis in winter, you can hide tall boots, wool socks, longjohns and more!
