New Hair Product – This hair style is a result of using Curly Sexy Hair's Curl Power. Meant for fine to medium curly hair, I believed it to be a good choice for my head. It's in a blue aerosol can, is to be sprayed onto damp hair. I figured it would be a mist a la hairspray. Not so much, I sprayed it and it came out like a foamy mist that left white droplets all over my head and foam all over the nozzle. I rubbed it in and let it air-dry for about 30 minutes, then scrunched and dried with a diffuser on Warm. My hair was left… well it wasn't as soft and silky as with other products, but it hard more body. When I curled it with the curling iron, it seemed to hold better. My hair wasn't as polished looking, I looked more like these rocker boys with long messy curled hair… good for a day at the beach but not quite so work-appropriate. The curl-resistant parts of my hair (the front) didn't seem to curl any better, but held the ironed curls better. After curling I used a bit of BioSilk for some shine. What I do like about this product is that is gives good hold… my hair looked the same by the end of the day and it was a windy and dreary day. Often my curls are just waves by 5pm. I will keep trying this product.
As for my makeup, it's L'Oreal Bare Naturale mineral foundation in Nude Beige, Nars blush in Orgasm, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – ivory in inner corners and along brow bone, olive on lid and along lash lines. Lashes curled and Cover Girl Lash Exact mascara in Black applied. On lips is a L'Oreal Longwear lipstick (gold tube) in a rum shade, with Sally Hansen's Diamond Lipcolor in Champagne Toast over it.
