Very warm day here in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States! Opened the window last night. Today I woke up on time, didn’t spend forever fiddling on the computer and had…

  1. they have a new sent ~ midnight pomegranate ~ so i got the bubble bath and hand cream in that. i also got the relax aromatherapy eucalyptus spearmint sugar scrub. they are so yummie!

i also got some fun makeup from benefit. do you ever use them? i just one of their new products called perfect 10. it’s a little box that’s half bronzer and half highlighter. it’s great and adds just the right amount of shimmery sparkle. (i put a picture of all these products on my blog)

  2. When I worked for Express I got my discount at BBW and used to shop there religiously. Then I went to The Body Shop and well… they were considered the animal testing competition. However I have used a lot of the C.O. Bigelow line and I love the Breathe Energy scent – the spray as a spring/summer fragrance.

It’s hard, since I learned so much about beauty companies, their practices and ingredients to shop there as often, but boy do they have some yu8mmy stuff. What did you get and like?

  3. you wear colors so well! i start my new job on monday and i get to wear fun clothes again…no more sweats at home!

do you ever use bath and body works products? i know you’re a big fan of the body shop…but i just tried some new products and they’re great!

  4. I have tried a bunch of different product for my color-treated hair. I found that Halo totally dried it out, Paul Mitchell let it fade, Suave Professionals made it too soft and limp, and really I think this line keeps my hair soft, the color relatively intact, and i was impressed by the ingredients list. When I got it, I got the big bottles at 2/$22 at my salon. Look around, it often goes on sale and you can get a reasonable price.

Most winters I get the equiveltn of psoriasis on my scalp and end up using T-Scalp just so I don’t scratch and flake and hurt. This winter I haven’t had to. I don’t know if it’s from the shampoo change or something else, but I am a happy non-itching camper!

  5. I just threw out a stash of shampoos and conditioners that were making my scalp itch and break out. That’s what I get for trying to save money by buying the cheap stuff. What do you think of the L’Oreal Kiwi products you’re using? I was considering a purchase at Ulta a few months ago, but the SA steered me away from them, saying that the formula was better when Artec owned it. Go figure!
