Off to yoga! Coral ribbed tank from Old Navy, orange scoop tee from American Apparel, black knit pants from ProSpirit, low-top Chucks.
Hair was brushed and bangs straightened with dryer and round brush.
Makeup is spots of L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3, a touch of Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife and Imju Fiberwig mascara. I know after yoga we'll be going to the grocery and Target so I didn't want to look COMPLETELY like death warmed over…
This is my new commuter splurge – a longer coat from Lands End. It's darn cold out there! As usual, Lands End does run a bit large, but I think a size Medium coat would be skin tight. But this coat will let me wear skirts to work, it's pretty thin so I don't feel like a total marshmallow and it is reversible (though the other side just looks like the lining, not too chic). But it's super warm!

The self-timer on my iPhone and this handy (and nicely priced) Bluetooth phone remote have helped me capture more of what I’ve worn off the blog. These are all casual looks as my nicer ensembles got captured and shared as true outfit posts. What I wear on weekends, early mornings, when I’m sick, and when…
Gwynnie Bee invited me to style one look three ways with the B Curvy by Bobeau “Kate” Chambray dress as part of me being their June Featured Influencer. This dress is light and breezy, perfect for summer, and a silhouette that can dress up and down with ease. For reference, I am wearing the dress…
This post is sponsored by Lord & Taylor and ShopStyle Lord & Taylor and asked if I’d like to partner with them this holiday season and I was ALL about it. I’ve been chatting about all things Lord & Taylor with a stylish friend who was telling me how they are the best priced secret…
This post is late because I thought today was Sunday, not Monday. We’ve come to that point of sheltering in place where I have no idea what day of the week it is. Makes for a witty relatable tweet, but does not make for a productive or successful person. Ugh. I also went through my…
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to be on a local morning show modeling ELOQUII fashion. One of the looks they had me in was this ELOQUII flare sleeve maxi wrap dress and I totally fell in love with it. It’s a breezy fabric, a true wrap, but fits so well there’s no…
2019 was The Year of the Suit. I recently cleared out my closet and was surprised by how many suits I have amassed and how many of them I wear often and know I will continue to wear. White pantsuits to cocktail parties, red double-breasted numbers to speak at a conference, velvet-trimmed plaid ones for…
Petite large. And this baby may be thin and comfy but is it WARM! I wore it the past two days when it was a bit warmer and felt almost ill from how warm I was in it. Today switched to a lightweight red suede car coat from Target ’05 because that coat is too heavy for these 50 degree days!
The more I wear it, the more I like it. Just on cold days go forward!
Allie – I’m also a cold weather hostage who has a couple of down parkas. Jsut jazz it up with a fabulous scarf and boots, and you won’t even feel like a marshmallow! (which, btw, you don’t look like!)

Orange/Coral it looks so great on you!
You may not look like a marshmallow–but hope your new coat keeps you toasty like one 😉
Cute coral top. Have a great weekend!
