This is one of my outlet shopping scores from this weekend. I don't have many work-appropriate sleeveless tops, and this one is fabulous because it's crisp cotton so won't cling in this insane DC humidity. It can be dressed down with jeans or be tucked into a pencil skirt or even worn as a shell under a suit. Best part is it only cost me $14!

I ended up taking off yesterday so no outfit post. I spent the day in one of my new outlet score dresses – a soft olive/gray knit dress also from the Banana Republic outlet. It is amazing how much my clothing world has expanded with having a comfortable strapless bra; I could wear the dress yesterday with some flip flops and be comfy and look cute AND beat the heat! Triple score!

  1. I love the way the turquoise necklace pulls together all the colors in the top (none of which are turquoise!).  Very nice Allie!!

  2. I don’t know that I’ve said this before but I REALLY love your style! I especially love that you mix graphics with solids, different styles of jewelry, shoes, and handbags. I don’t wear heels but you are inspiring me to maybe start someday! Sorry for gushing but you are relatable and a very nice person to boot! Thanks for being so inspiration!

  3. Love the top – I went out and got fitted for a strapless bra last weekend and it is awesome! So supportive and the option of convertible straps – much easier to wear dresses and sleeveless tops!

  4. My pleasure, thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment on my blog.  I am thankful for all feedback, you readers are virtual friends, tell me what a girlfriend would say if she saw me IRL! 🙂

  5. Had a pair of white stretch twill pants from Caslon for Nordstrom that I LOVED.  Now that I am back to that size they are too short and I donated them to the swap. But before I have always found great white pants for surprisingly great prices at Nordstrom. 🙂

  6. Love the necklace, the whole outfit. I’ve been looking for white slacks forever but I guess you’re wearing white jeans.

  7. You look so tiny in this outfit!  It really shows off your WW efforts.  I may have to try to find me a top like that.

  8. Looking very summery Allie.  Also in the earlier post you made that blue maxi dress (though scrub like on top I agree 🙂 ) work for you and looked cute.
Thanks for your kind words to me when I commented on your earilier post.
