I know, those boots again!  I am in need of some new winter boots but have yet to find any worthy of my money – style and comfort.  We'll see what the Birthday Fairy brings me later this month…

Tried the curly hair again today.  Still feel a bit like Dominic West in Rock Star.  I swear I was born in the wrong decade – my hair makes some mean mall bangs, can look like a body wave with little effort, and when straight it likes to part in the center and feather out a la Valerie Bertinelli.  Need to coax out those curls!

Considered titling this, “Feeling Funky” but I like the day titles – keeps me on track and easy to reference. But this time of year always leaves me feeling a bit off whack – a bit tired, a bit discombobulated, a bit out of it. Usually a morning person, I find in September and October…

  1. That’s a lot of stuff to carry! Of course, you’re a mom, so you have to carry a lot of stuff – I’ve tried to pare way down, so I have a tiny purse. However, I do carry a tote to work and that bag is majorly gorgeous.

I checked online and saw that they still have the skirt, but not in my size. Boo – it looks like they have everything except for a 12. So, now I’ll have to go to the store and/or check eBay. It is totally fabulous though and I’m thinking that I must have it – or maybe I should buy it in a 10 since I’m still losing and it can be my goal skirt. Decisions, decisions.

You really look great – the weight loss is really starting to show up! Of course, the thing that was saddest for me was when things that I loved were now too big and beyond being tailored. Fortunately, that feeling was usually tempered by the utter joy of dropping another size. The day that I made it back into Misses clothing not only caused a whoop of joy in the dressing rooms, but also some tears of happiness.

  3. You could wear it even if we worked in the same office! Get it girl!

And this bag carries my wallet, my sunglasses, a note book, an engagement calendar, a cardreader to access photos from my husband’s camera’s memory card, my phone, and when we go out to eat I can fit in the bag a bib, a table cover thingie, sippy cup, couple of toys. It can lay flat or balloon up like a carpet bag. Major love for it!

  4. I adore that skirt – I’ll have to see if it’s still available. Since we don’t live anywhere near each other, that’s okay, right? I love that bag, too – even though it’s way too big for me to carry. Or do you use it like a tote?

  5. Oh I would die if I didn’t look good in black. It’s actually why I will never be a redhead again – took far too much makeup to not look like death warmed over in black 🙂

  6. Love this look! And I’m trying to squelch my my envious feelings in how great you look in black. If I could pull it off, I’d be wearing black all the time. 🙂
