I don't jump on every trend bandwagon, and when neons came back last year I positively absolutely refused to wear them. Come on, I'm 37 years old, I wore neons back when Frankie was telling us all to relax, I can't do it again.
And then I saw this blazer from Vince Camuto and it changed my mind. The color is so pretty, and is tempered with the wood button and tan and white ticking stripe lining on the sleeves. In March, I can see it with black or dark denim, come summer I think it will look so fresh with tan and white. The blazer changed my mind so much that I recently grabbed up this belt from Ann Taylor – imagine it with Kelly green, orange, hot pink… or even with denim and chambray!
So yes, Alison Gary is a neon convert… though I don't think you'll see me wearing pastel denim jackets, cropped tops, or acid washed denim again!
