Neon yellow linen jacket – J. Crew via eBay
Black tank – Banana Republic (no longer available)
Black trousers Gap Perfect Trouser Pants
Pink patent belt – Hobo International (no longer available – similar)
Black peeptoe booties – Miss Sixty “Jaiden”
Silver cuff

The shoes from yesterday were quite comfortable until the very end of the day where the vamp started digging into my foot. I have a blister on each foot top so knew today I would be pulling out the Miss Sixtys. I swear, these shoes are like orthopedic footwear for me!

This jacket was advertised as yellow on eBay and I was thinking that I like my yellow cardigan so much, a short jacket would be a fun addition for spring (and the price was amazing).  When I opened it and saw it was NEON, like antifreeze, glo-stick, Wham! video neon, I was pleasantly surprised.  With a day like today, I needed something to brighten it up!

Ah the glamorous fashion of a woman who lounges in bed all day… (and you KNEW I just couldn’t stay away!!!) It really sucks to work from one’s bed. Try to lie on your back, raise your feet, have a giant belly and type on a laptop. Yeah, not too successful. My mom is coming…

Ruckus says hello. Ruckus can NOT handle me closing the office door on him when I take my picture (I swear it’s like 10 seconds, hence strange angles and occasional blurry shots) so he usually comes in and makes himself at home on an old blanket I threw ont he floor as a makeshift second…

Very warm day here in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States! Opened the window last night. Still raining, but I am not complaining considering how very dar it has been here and further south the past couple of months. Today I woke up on time, didn’t spend forever fiddling on the computer and had…

  1. I actually started off with navy pants & shell, but switched when I realized I couldn’t wear the shoes I wanted. That is how I will be wearing it next time, or thinking it would be great with a crisp white tank and dark jeans!

  2. I do like this, but I wonder if the black against the neon is slightly too harsh? I’d love to see this jacket with a navy outfit or maybe a plum or aubergine (still with the pink belt!) as I think it might just soften it a little bit …

  3. perfect timing – just bought a hot pink skinny belt and was wondering what to pair it with along with my usual blacks… and that looks amazing. thanks!

  4. That jacket is flippin’ amazing, period end-of-story. I wore a pink belt today and made the comment that every woman should have one in their wardrobe arsenal!
